About Us

We are developing a cutting-edge AI-driven robotic system designed to revolutionize autonomous patient repositioning and sleep health management. Our system integrates advanced embedded technology, precision motion control, and real-time data processing to deliver unparalleled patient care and support for caregivers.

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Systems Engineer to play a critical role in the design, development, and manufacturing of our intelligent repositioning platform. This role will focus on PCB design, CAN FD protocol implementation, embedded firmware development, and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

1. PCB Design & Hardware Development

  • Design, develop, and test custom PCBs for the robotic system, including microcontroller integration and sensor interfacing.
  • Implement high-speed data transmission layouts for CAN FD and others.
  • Ensure electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and optimize power efficiency.
  • Perform PCB bring-up, debugging, and validation.

2. CAN FD Protocol Implementation

  • Develop robust, real-time CAN FD communication for high-speed, low-latency data transfer between embedded system components.
  • Implement firmware drivers and protocol stack for CAN FD-based communication.
  • Optimize error handling, arbitration mechanisms, and fault tolerance
  • Conduct compliance testing for ISO 11898 and industry standards.

3. Embedded Firmware Development

  • Develop and optimize real-time firmware for microcontrollers (e.g., STM32, NXP, TI).
  • Write efficient and scalable C/C code for embedded applications.
  • Implement motion control algorithms to support robotic repositioning mechanisms.

4. Manufacturing & Prototyping

  • Oversee PCB fabrication, assembly, and testing in collaboration with manufacturing partners.
  • Optimize the design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and design-for-testability (DFT) processes.
  • Assist in sourcing components, ensuring supply chain stability and cost efficiency
  • Validate and optimize mechanical-electronic integration for mass production readiness

5. System Integration & Testing

  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers, software developers, and AI specialists to ensure seamless system operation.
  • Conduct hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing for real-time system validation.
  • Develop diagnostic tools and data logging for monitoring system performance.
  • Perform field testing and optimization in real-world healthcare environments.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

  • PCB Design & Layout using Eagle.
  • Embedded firmware development in C/C for microcontrollers (STM32, NXP, TI, etc.).
  • Proficiency in CAN FD communication, including protocol stack implementation and debugging.
  • Experience with motion control systems, sensor interfacing, and motor drivers.
  • Knowledge of power electronics, signal integrity, and EMI/EMC compliance.
  • Proficiency in hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG, CANalyzer).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and hardware troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Hands-on approach to prototyping and testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CAN protocol stack tools (Vector CANoe, PCAN, CANalyzer).
  • Familiarity with robotics, mechatronics, or medical device development
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain constraints

Why Join Us?

  • Work on groundbreaking AI-driven robotics for patient care.
  • Hands-on experience from PCB design to manufacturing.
  • Growth opportunities in a dynamic and innovative environment.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, AI specialists, and healthcare experts.
