QA Manager duties / requirements:
Candidate will assist the Government in quality assurance management and operational support at a government facility to include projects at both CONUS and OCONUS locations. Additional specific duties shall include, but are not limited to, the following:


Duties:

• Evaluate schedules, work performance quality and perform documentation reviews for all work in progress projects
• Provide safety oversight and coordination on on-going projects
• Attend operations, maintenance and construction project meetings
• Ensure on-site compliance with National Fire Protection Association, Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care and other federal, state and local codes and criteria
• Provide oral weekly reports to government officials
• Perform field surveys to investigate existing layouts and conditions
• Coordinate with DPW, USACE and site personnel as required
• Attend and participate in final on-site inspections of completed projects
• Monitor noise and vibration resulting from construction
• Submit monthly status reports

Requirements/Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree or 15 years’ experience required
• Must possess current USACE Construction Quality Manager Certification
• Must possess OSHA 30-Hour Course Certification
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites
• Demonstrated ability to work independently
• Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to organize and plan meetings and prepare presentations
• Ability to pass background checks and a obtain a favorable NACI clearance
