What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing and Social Media Manager position at Souderton Connects?
Introduction
Souderton Connects is a non-profit in Souderton borough that works to brand, market and beautify Souderton while promoting the common interests of its businesses. We are seeking a qualified contractor to manage our social media presence, enhance engagement, and grow our online audience.
Scope of Work
The selected contractor will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing a social media strategy aligned with our mission and community outreach objectives.
- Work with Souderton Connects manager to determine quarterly priority and goals. This task includes visiting Souderton BID Businesses to create contact. Visits will be coordinated with the Souderton Connects manager.
- Creating, scheduling, and posting content on Facebook and Instagram with at least three (3) original feed posts per week.
- Spend 30-minutes a day sharing content posted by businesses within the BID on Facebook and Instagram. This may also include sharing posts by non-profit and religious organizations that “benefit Souderton and the businesses and private community as a whole”
- Development three (3) quarterly videos that support local BID Businesses and highlight the town.
- Managing audience engagement, (responding to comments, messages, and fostering community interaction)
- Maintain Google Ad Grant and associated ads account
- Tracking performance metrics and providing monthly reports
Applicant Qualifications
Ideal candidates should have:
- Proven experience in social media management for nonprofits or similar organizations.
- Knowledge of best practices in content creation, engagement, and analytics.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
