Job Title: Direct Support Professional – Join Our Team in Vista, CA!
Are you an experienced and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities? To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
- At least 18 years of age
- Successful completion of health screen, tuberculosis test, drug screen, and a background check through the Department of Justice and FBI (no misdemeanors or felonies)
- Availability to work the following shifts:
- Tuesday & Thursday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 AM
- Saturday & Sunday: 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM (Overnight)
- Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
What you’ll need to be successful:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid CA Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Comfort with driving residents in your vehicle
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and assist with moving up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities, assisting with daily living activities (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Observe and document patient behavior and progress, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the living space, promoting a healthy atmosphere.
- Collaborate with team members and families to develop individualized care plans, fostering community integration and social interaction.
- Drive clients to appointments and community activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
