Marine Construction Superintendent

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Marine Construction Superintendent to oversee our construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that all work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires very strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple teams effectively and efficiently while maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
• Review blueprints, shop drawings, and project plans to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
• Prepare reports on project status, including timelines, budgets, and any issues that arise during construction.

Skills

• Have at least 7 years of experience in the Marine Construction Industry
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Possess a strong knowledge of all various types of piles, pile installation methods, and pile driving equipment.
• Ability to take information from blueprints, drawings, and specs and apply them to the project in terms of work/pile layout, work sequence.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Experience with quality control processes in construction projects.
• Excellent supervisory skills with a proven track record of managing diverse teams effectively and efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in all aspects of construction management.
• Possess Excellent prioritization, organizational, and delegation skills.
• Proficient in using Bluebeam for document management and collaboration among team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $79,000.00 - $93,600.00 per year

Experience:
