Schedule:

• Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  
• Saturday (Optional): 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced caregiver to support a client living with advanced dementia and high levels of anxiety. The ideal candidate is calm, patient, attentive, and familiar with the unique challenges that dementia can present, especially when paired with emotional distress or agitation.

Responsibilities:

Provide gentle companionship and emotional reassurance

Assist with daily routines (meals, toileting, light mobility support)

Monitor for signs of distress and redirect or de-escalate as needed

Create a safe, structured, and comforting environment

Engage the client in simple, appropriate activities or conversation

Communicate regularly with family and/or care team on condition and needs

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience with dementia clients

Strong understanding of Alzheimer’s/dementia-related behaviors

Excellent communication and de-escalation skills

Ability to remain calm and grounded in high-stress situations

Background check and references required
