Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time therapist to provide individual and group therapy to young adults (ages 18-26 ) experiencing a range of mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will understand developmental stages, common mental health conditions in young adulthood, and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
Responsibilities:
- Conducted comprehensive assessments and developed individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual therapy using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), or other relevant modalities.
- Please make sure you maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with other professionals as needed to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision and team meetings.
- Maintain ethical standards and adhere to professional guidelines.
- Foster a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or Doctorate in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Valid state licensure (e.g., LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist).
- Experience providing therapy to young adults (18-26).
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for working with young adults and promoting mental wellness.
Details:
- Full-time position.
- Compensation: $65,000 per year.
- Benefits: This is a full time position, however, it does not include benefits.
- Location: Hurricane, UT.
- Target Population: Our program supports neurodiverse young adults aged 18-26 and older who often face challenges in achieving independence, finding purpose, and succeeding in careers and academics. Common diagnoses among our clients include ADHD, ASD, OCD, GAD, MDD, failure to launch, and social anxiety.
