Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction by delivering high-quality service in a fine dining environment. Your ability to engage with guests, manage orders efficiently, and maintain a positive atmosphere will contribute significantly to our restaurant's success.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• Present menus, provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, ensuring all details are captured correctly.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining attention to guest needs throughout their dining experience.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, processing payments and providing change as necessary.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and address any special dietary requirements or requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Uphold food handling and safety standards in accordance with health regulations.
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring overall satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a fine dining setting.
• Strong math skills for handling transactions and managing bills accurately.
• Familiarity with culinary terminology and menu items to effectively communicate with guests.
• Experience operating cash registers and POS systems; knowledge of Toast is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• A passion for providing outstanding guest experiences through attentive service.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.50 - $12.22 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
