Aviation Customer Services Representative

Customer Service Representatives are responsible for providing assistance to passengers and aircraft crew members. A CSR plays a crucial role in the company, as they are the main point of contact for Sound Aircraft Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide new and existing customers with the best possible customer service experience by operating in a warm, friendly, and respectful manner.
  • Coordinate ground transportation, rental car reservations, hotel accommodations, and catering for crew and passengers.
  • Update flight schedule using aviation business management software based on trip notifications and service requests.
  • Receive, confirm, and convey fuel orders and aircraft service requests.
  • Handle client interactions and information with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Meticulously create, update, and maintain customer profiles with relevant and current information.
  • Bill fuel and service invoices using POS software.
  • Collect overdue payments via phone, email, or mail.
  • Ensure that company areas are clean and organized.
  • Restock beverages and snack items.
  • Preform opening and closing procedures.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks during peak operational periods.
  • Comply with all relevant airport and Sound Aircraft Services policies, regulations, and responsibilities.
  • Represent Sound Aircraft Services and Airport management in a professional respectful manner.

Qualifications:

  • Must pass a drug- and alcohol test (including substances such as legalized marijuana) and all background/security checks
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Basic English language skills
  • Able to work closely within a team
  • Able to work independently
  • Good communication skills
  • Safety oriented mindset
  • Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Ability to work flexible schedules
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Must meet minimum physical requirements of the job
  • The position is a safety sensitive position which will require aircraft ramp access
  • Valid state drivers license required

The employee frequently is required to stand, walk or sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, kneel or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision required for this job include, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus. The employee will also need to hear clearly and speak audibly via radio and telephone.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasional high volume when aircrafts arrive/depart. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
