What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a Demand Planning Manager who is highly analytical, an Excel expert, and a client-facing problem solver. You'll be responsible for forecasting demand, managing inventory flows, and ensuring operational efficiency for our clients eCommerce accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory & Demand Forecasting: Develop and maintain demand forecasting models to optimize stock levels across Amazon channels.
- Data-Driven Analysis: Leverage advanced Excel functions (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Power Query) to track sales trends, identify demand fluctuations, and create actionable insights.
- Client-Facing Strategy: Work directly with clients to analyze inventory needs, anticipate supply chain challenges, and make proactive recommendations.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with vendors, fulfillment centers, and internal teams to balance inventory levels, reduce stockouts, and prevent overstocking.
- Process Optimization: Continuously refine demand planning strategies, leveraging forecasting tools and data models to improve efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with account managers, advertising teams, and leadership to align demand planning with broader Amazon strategies.
- Technology & System Utilization: Utilize Amazon inventory management tools, forecasting software, and internal systems to drive efficiency.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience in demand planning, inventory forecasting, or supply chain management, preferably within an Amazon or eCommerce environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, data modeling, and automation.
- Strong client communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights and influence decision-making.
- Management experience leading demand planning teams or cross-functional coordination.
- Experience with Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, or similar inventory management platforms.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities to tackle inventory challenges.

What Your First 30-60 Days Will Look Like
First 30 Days:
Complete onboarding, gaining deep familiarity with processes, technology, and client accounts.
Work alongside leadership to understand current demand planning strategies and key pain points.
Review existing forecasting models and inventory reports to assess their accuracy and effectiveness.
Begin shadowing client meetings to understand client relationships and expectations.
Get hands-on with Amazon inventory management tools, proprietary systems, and Excel forecasting models.
First 60 Days:
Take ownership of demand planning reports, refining and optimizing forecasting models.
Begin leading client discussions on inventory strategy, offering data-driven recommendations.
Identify process improvements and work with the tech and operations teams to implement them.
Fully integrate with cross-functional teams, collaborating with account managers, marketing, and leadership.
Deliver an initial report on inventory trends, highlighting areas for efficiency gains.
