Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Compliance :
Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Develop and maintain a strong internal control environment to protect company assets.
Foster a collaborative, results-oriented work culture aligned with FlyUSAs mission and goals.
Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing accounting team.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Leverage technology and financial systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Great Plains) to streamline accounting operations.
Ensure timely and accurate tax filings in collaboration with external tax advisors.
Partner with senior leadership on initiatives that impact the financial health and strategic direction of the organization.
What Were Looking For
Education : Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA license is mandatory.
8-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
Background in public accounting and / or corporate settings with exposure to financial and managerial accounting.
Proficiency with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Great Plains preferred).
Strong knowledge of GAAP.
Passion for process automation and technology adoption to improve customer and employee experiences.
Exceptional leadership, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High integrity, dependability, and a results-oriented mindset.
Willingness to get your hands dirty and take on challenges with a proactive approach.
