Core Responsibilities
- Maintain the safety and cleanliness of our Brooklyn Shop in accordance with OSHA standards and New York State Labor Law
- Coordinate weekly crew booking commensurate with show volume and workload
- Coordinate trucking logistics needed among active and future job sites across NYC, as well as subrentals
- Assign tasks, utilize, and motivate crew efficiently to assure deadlines are met for packing, outbounding, and inbounding shipments
- Assure our Flex inventory is kept up-to-date and being operated properly by warehouse staff with the help of department heads
- General shop supervision during shows in the event of emergency needs
- Work alongside our HQ warehouse in Chicago to manage transfer orders as needed
- Interface with project managers, operations, and department heads to ensure effective communications between production, shop, and technicians
- Track missing equipment as needed
- Stock and maintain warehouse supplies
- Work with management to improve shop operations based on budget, advisement, and best practices
- Ability and certification to operate a forklift
- Ability to drive trucks preferable but not required in the event of truck movement about the warehouse area
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred
- 5 years of relevant work experience
- Valid driver's license
