About the Role:
The BI Developer participates and is responsible for multiple aspects of our Data Warehouse development. Specifically, you will be participating in activities related to Data Modeling (relational and dimensional), SQL programming, design and development of ETL processes, data visualization and report development, performance tuning and optimization.
The Details: This opportunity is full-time REMOTE.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and designing Power BI dashboards and reports to meet business requirements
- Translating business and technical requirements into effective and user-friendly visualizations
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver actionable insights
- Ensuring data accuracy and consistency across all reports and dashboards via comprehensive unit testing
- Optimizing Power BI solutions for performance and scalability
- Creating and maintaining documentation for all Power BI solutions, including design, development, and deployment processes
- Translating high-level requirements and business goals into wireframes, making design recommendations to build out final dashboards and visualizations
- Providing training and support to end-users to maximize the adoption and usage of Power BI solutions
- Participating in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and backlog grooming
- Continuously monitoring and improving existing Power BI solutions based on user feedback and evolving business needs
- Staying current with the latest features and best practices in Power BI and data visualization

Knowledge:
- BA/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Health Care Informatics, Business, Economics or equivalent experience
Experience:
- 3 years of recent experience in the area of Business Intelligence development
- General experience in Business Intelligence design, development, and methodologies
- Experience and knowledge of MS SQL Server Platform and tools
- SQL programming: T-SQL, stored procedures
- Visual Studio BIDS /Data Tools 2012
- SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
- PowerPivot and Power View
- SQL Profiler/Query Optimization Tool
- Excel Data Services for SharePoint
Pay Range: $110,000-$125,000 annually. Exact pay will be determined based on candidate experience and geographical location.
