Qualifications :
A medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution is required.Board certification in internal or family medicine and a minimum of 2 years of hospitalist leadership experience are mandatory.An active medical license in Washington or eligibility for licensure is required.Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.Practice in the Heart of the Community
Flexible Scheduling :
Enjoy a schedule that includes seven monthly clinical shifts, with dedicated administrative time to focus on leadership responsibilities.Key Responsibilities :
Demonstrate comprehensive medical care and post-operative care to a 137-bed facility, including an open ICU with subspecialty backup.Work with internal and family medicine residents as primary teaching faculty for their inpatient rotations.Provide clinical oversight and foster a family-like environment within a blended, collaborative team.Procedures are not mandatory for our team. Our dedicated hospitalist and emergency room teams handle code responses, ensuring a collective and supportive approach.Utilize EPIC EMR systems and Sound’s internal informatics platform.Living and Working in Mount Vernon :
