About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced hospitalists to join our team at Sound Physicians. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with nursing staff and engage in key medical staff committees to improve communication and patient care.
You will be responsible for managing various cases in a 150-bed hospital, focusing on complex cases in a semi-open ICU, benefiting from round-the-clock intensivist coverage. Additionally, you will participate in teaching and mentoring medical students, APPs, and residents from Lincoln Memorial University, fostering a culture of learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Excellence: Manage various cases in a 150-bed hospital, focusing on complex cases in a semi-open ICU, benefiting from round-the-clock intensivist coverage.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with nursing staff and engage in key medical staff committees, including the credentialing and medical executive committees, to improve communication and patient care.
- Teaching and Mentoring: Participate in teaching and mentoring medical students, APPs, and residents from Lincoln Memorial University, fostering a culture of learning.
- Teamwork and Support: Engage in weekly group huddles to discuss challenges, share updates, and ensure seamless collaboration across the team.
