Local Team Collaboration
- Join our close-knit team of critical care advanced practice providers as we focus on providing exceptional care for ICU patients.
- Work alongside experienced professionals who live nationwide and travel to our hospital partner sites nationwide, bringing diverse expertise and a shared commitment to high-quality patient care.
- At least 3 years of ICU experience as an independent practitioner, with a strong passion for teamwork, integrity, and delivering high-quality patient care.
- Board-certified Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. Nurse Practitioners must be acute care trained
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Sound’s licensing team will assist in obtaining any necessary state licenses to work at our hospital partner locations, and we will cover the cost of these licenses.
Flexible Scheduling
- Ambassadors work a modified block schedule to maximize travel and minimize transitions, ensuring an optimal work-life balance.
- This position entails 10-12, night shifts per month, each 12 hours.
- Provide high-quality, comprehensive care to medical / surgical / cardiac / neuro ICU patients
- Demonstrate autonomous care within an ICU setting with support from a full complement of medical subspecialists.
- Collaborate with fellow advanced practice providers, taking on leadership opportunities to develop new team models and mentor new team members.
- Participate in team meetings and initiatives, driving high-quality care and advancing our mission to improve bedside care.
- Must provide evidence of procedural competence with the following procedures: central lines, arterial lines, intubations and chest tubes

- Compensation: $224,640-$280,800 dependent on shift commitment.
