Local Team Collaboration:
- At Oak Valley Hospital, lead our Emergency Medicine team, which will include 6 EM physicians and 2.5 EM Advanced Practice Providers. Our model consists of 24 hours per day of physician coverage and 10 hours per day of Advanced Practice provider coverage.
Qualifications:
- Emergency Medicine Board-Certified physicians will be considered (ABEM or AOBEM Board certification required)
- Additional certifications required: PALS, BLS, ACLS
- Ideal Medical Director candidates have a minimum of 2 years of experience leading an Emergency Medicine team.

Scheduling and Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical shifts are 12-hours: 7 am-7 pm and 7 pm-7 am
- Flexibility with scheduling of clinical shifts.
- An acute care hospital with 12 bed ED (all private rooms) 4 fast-track beds
- Annual volume of 20,579 with 4% admission rate
- Average of 2.1 patients per hour
- Hospital includes 5 ICU and 30 med/surg beds
- Level 4 Trauma goal in 2025/2026
- Radiology, including CT/Ultrasound and MRI available during daytime hours
- Specialty services include: Anesthesiology, Interventional Radiology, Cardiology, General Surgery, Mobile Crisis Psych, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Wound Care

This area's attractions include Woodward Reservoir, Cowboy Museum, Orange Blossom Recreation Area, and Greger Basin
The natural beauty of Oakdale is unbeatable The Stanislaus River and the Sierra Nevada foothills are close by. Also, this area is considered the gateway to Yosemite National Park, Dodge Ski Resort, and Stanislaus National Forest.

This is also near two major cities- Modesto and Stockton.

1099 base compensation of $275-285/hr for clinical shifts worked generous medical director stipend.
