Local Team Collaboration:

• At Trios Southridge Hospital, we are growing our strong and collaborative Emergency Medicine team size to 6 EM physicians and 7.5 EM Advanced Practice Providers.
• Our model consists of 24 hours per day of physician coverage and 30 hours per day of Advanced Practice provider coverage.
• Level 3 Trauma, acute care hospital with 21 bed ED, 6 fast track beds, and 14 ICU beds.
• Annual volume of 24,440 with 10.8% admission rate; 1.5% transfers.
• Specialty services include: Anesthesiology, Internal Medicine, Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiology, OB/GYN, Obstetrics, Podiatry.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified/Board-eligible Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification.
• Additional certifications required: PALS, BLS, ACLS, ATLS.

Practice in the Heart of the Community

Scheduling:

• APPs work 10-hour shifts.
• Full-time is 120 hours per month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to floor codes, including neonatal resuscitations.
• CT in-house, Ultrasound, and MRI on call at night.
• Bedside Ultrasound performed by all EM physicians.

• Known as one of the Tri-Cities composed of Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland and located in southeastern Washington. Kennewick is known for its rich agriculture and beautiful wine country. Plenty of sunshine with little precipitation, which makes for mild four seasons.
• Beautiful nature includes three major rivers, and mountain ranges nearby with plenty of outdoor recreation. Wineries and vineyards, river recreation, fishing, and golf, as well as entertainment events offer year-round activities.
• Known for excellent schools which make for a great place to raise a family.
• Up-and-coming metropolitan areas and larger metropolitan areas of Seattle and Tacoma as well as Portland, Oregon are only a few hours away.
