Qualifications :
A medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution and successful completion of a fellowship in critical care medicine is necessary.Board certified / eligible in critical care medicine is required.At least five years of experience leading a team of intensivists is required.An active medical license in Georgia or eligibility to obtain one is necessary.Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.Practice in the Heart of the Community
Flexible Scheduling :
We offer an array of flexible scheduling options, which includes one intensivist during the day and tele-ICU coverage at night.Key Responsibilities :
Provide high-quality, comprehensive care to patients in an ICU within a 160-bed community hospital that includes a primary stroke center.Lead multidisciplinary rounds with active team participation.Demonstrate robust leadership over a high-performing team of Intensivists.Support Internal Medicine residents who will rotate in the ICU as part of the hospital’s GME program.Work closely with colleagues in other departments to ensure smooth transitions of care.Participate in and encourage other team members to participate actively in committees and become part of the larger hospital team.Living and Working in Griffin :
