Team Collaboration:
- Lead a team of highly experienced nocturnist telehospitalist physicians.
- Our physicians are highly experienced internal medicine-trained, board-certified hospitalists leader who is passionate about integrity and delivering high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- Applicant must have an MD or DO and be board-certified in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM) with a minimum of 5 years of hospitalist experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience building/managing inpatient teams.
- Experience in building and customizing Telemedicine workflows and team protocols.
- Must have a good understanding of implementing telemedicine programs.
- Must demonstrate resilience and a driven mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills are required.

Schedule:
- This position is fully remote, allowing you to work in a virtual environment.
- It is a Full Time Medical Director opportunity, requiring both clinical hours and administrative duties each month.
- The clinical hours are overnight, and the administrative responsibilities will be weekdays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work clinical shifts and manage the complexities of caring for patients remotely in acute environments.
- Engage in cross-coverage cases and admissions via telemedicine to provide continuity of care.
- Responsible for the ongoing development of the virtual team of Telehospitalists.
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new Telemedicine Hospitalist to our team.
- Responsible for growing our Telemedicine Hospitalist business both within our existing hospital relationship and with new hospital partners. The ideal candidate possesses a strong desire to build and contribute to the growth of the service.
- Relationship Building and Maintenance: The ability to create and nourish healthy, strong relationships, both inside Sound and with client hospitals. Ideal candidates will have a customer-focused mindset and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency when working with clients.
- Demonstrates the ability to work well with others to accomplish a goal and get the work done; takes opinions of others into consideration; includes others in the decision-making process. Highly Team focused.
