We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and distribution of materials within our facility. Your keen attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain processes.
Job Responsibilities :
- Move inventory and materials across facilities
- Process inventory for delivery
- Sort, organize, label and store inventory in the proper locations
- Crating and inventory of all out going products
- Receive delivered items and ensure quality
- Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors
- Stack and organize large bulk items
- Update logs and documentation for inventory processing
- Conduct cycle counts to maintain inventory levels
- Move materials from facilities to workstations, pick-up locations, or other locations
- Adhere to all safety standards
- Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventory
- Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aisles
- Work as an active team member to complete team goals
- Prepare documentation and inventory for audits
- Work closely with Shop Supervisor, Project Manager, and Purchasing
