Job Summary : The Project Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for various projects. This role involves analyzing project requirements, collaborating with subcontractors and suppliers, and ensuring that all estimates are comprehensive and align with the company's standards. The Project Estimator will work closely with project managers and other team members to support successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand project scope and requirements.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate and competitive pricing.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information and ensure estimate accuracy.
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and present estimate reports to management and clients.
- Monitor and update estimates as project conditions change.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and project planning sessions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
