Masimo Consumer, the parent company of leading audio brands Bowers & Wilkins, Denon, Marantz, Polk Audio, Definitive Technology and Classe, is seeking a talented and energetic Go to Market Manager for the Americas region. With a product portfolio spanning both traditional high-performance components as well as fast-moving headphones and soundbars, this role represents a unique opportunity to drive strategy and business outcomes for the world’s leading premium audio brands in the largest audio market in the world.

Reporting to the regional commercial VP, the GTM Manager will translate the global brand strategies, product HERO campaigns, marketing strategies, and brand positioning into Americas go-to-market strategies and channel execution plans. They support commercial excellence in the region by creating the conditions for sales growth in the region. They will lead development of channel strategies and pricing strategy in the region, manage the full product lifecycle for all Masimo Consumer products in the region and drive successful new product introductions (NPI’s).

The successful individual will be highly detail-oriented, able to work harmoniously with a wide range of colleagues in diverse areas of Masimo’s and our customers’ business and adept at working with sales, forecasting and product information data. Above all, they will approach the work with a customer-centric viewpoint and work proactively to ensure mutual success for both the customer and Masimo.

Essential Responsibilities

Brand and Channel Management

  • Own the NPI (New Product Introduction) process. Work cross-functionally to ensure completion of NPI check list, on-time delivery of NPI assets, internal and external briefings and post-launch reporting vs. KPIs.
  • Support the NPI Milestone process by analyzing sales trends and market data to support new product development.
  • Drive development and execution of the channel strategy for all Masimo Consumer products in the region. Conduct business analysis to determine pricing and distribution plans that will be net accretive to the business. Partner across the Americas organization to ensure channel strategy aligns to global direction.
  • Own the promotional strategy for all Masimo Consumer products in the region. Partner across the Americas organization to ensure promotional plans align to global direction.
  • Own development of channel strategy for new business initiatives including market data analysis and target setting/tracking

Commercial Review, Reporting & Project Management

  • Own the regional Commercial Review process to drive cross-functional accountability to the annual sales plan and key initiatives in the region. Create and update reporting, templates and project trackers.
  • Develop and implement run-the-business reporting to support the Brand/Channel Management and PSI/Stock Management needs above.
  • Conduct analysis to define key accounts in the region, definition of key initiatives to support growth with key accounts and reporting on initiatives.
  • Align cross-functionally on KPI’s for NPI’s and Brand initiatives and report regularly on progress.
  • Own regional market data source selection, procurement and analysis. Ensure insights are communicated cross-functionally to drive business decisions.

PSI and Stock Management

  • Work cross-functionally to increase forecast accuracy in the region. Ensure salespeople are properly supported with the information needed to forecast their business accurately.
  • Work with Operations team to optimize PSI (Production/Sales/Inventory) including model transition planning and development of strategies to address excess & obsolete inventory
  • Work cross-functionally to develop and implement product allocation strategy for constrained goods.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years impactful prior experience in a global or regional go-to-market/product marketing role in consumer audio (headphones, component loudspeakers, custom integration products, Hi-fi systems and/or home theater systems).
  • Prior experience with product launches and end-to-end lifecycle management of consumer audio products in the Americas market (US, Canada and Latin America).
  • Working understanding of basic financial concepts to determine product profitability, develop a dealer margin structure and conduct promotional/pricing analysis.
  • Prior experience with SKU-level and product-line level forecasting including PSI analysis, seasonality analysis and annual sales projection.
  • Outstanding business analysis skills and proven ability to drive organizational outcomes using data-driven analysis.
  • Familiarity with consumer market data sources such as Circana (NPD) and Futuresource, their strengths and their limitations.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Power BI.
  • A true team-player, with exceptional communication skills and the ability to interact at all levels in an international, matrix type organization.
  • Capable of managing work in an independent manner. A self-starter with initiative.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience managing a business relationship with Circana.
  • Prior experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Power BI.
  • Relationships/prior experience with Amazon, Best Buy, Costco, Walmart and/or Prosource in a sales, product marketing or product management capacity.
  • An undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Management or related field.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $101,000-$152,500 plus benefits. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience. This position also qualifies for up to 10% AIP bonus based on company, department, and individual performance.
