Job Title: Production Assistant

Job Overview:

The Production Assistant is primarily responsible for keeping the flow of the shop by helping the Lead Screen Printer and/or Embroidery Operators. Tasks include imaging new screens, reclaiming used screens, cutting and pressing vinyl, unloading garments on press, cleaning squeegees & flood bars, assisting in press set up/break down, cutting/touching up embroidery jobs and general shop cleaning duties. Operation of presses is dependent on experience.

Job Duties:

• Image Screens.
• Reclaim screens.
• Cutting and heat pressing custom vinyl names and numbers.
• Unload garments on press.
• Folding, packing, staging, and counting of printed and non-printed garments.
• Accurately count, sort and pack pieces from multiple jobs.
• Touch up embroidery orders before packing.
• Tagging items with retail hang tags.
• Inspect items to be packed to verify size, color, or brand of article.
• Ensure all goods are packed properly for shipping.
• Clean and maintain machinery and production work areas, including but not limited to squeegees, flood bars, screens, ink stations, etc.

Job Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality is an absolute must!
• Reliable transportation to Belchertown.
• Punctuality. Do not be late.
• Strong work ethic.
• Able to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining high level of quality.
• Physically capable of high daily demands; including but not limited to lifting 50 lbs ink containers, garments boxes, and standing for extended hours.
• Team player, we are a small team working towards the same goal.

Job Wage:

$17-19/hr

Job Hours:

• Full-time – Monday through Thursday, 7am to 5pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
