Description
This is a paid internship, range of $22 / hr - $39 / hr (depending on role and qualifications) for those currently pursuing undergraduate degrees and higher rates for those currently pursuing graduate level degrees.

Full time during the program dates, then part-time adjusted to meet the needs of the department and school schedules, for up to 1 year or 1040 hours.

DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
The Communications, Marketing and Engagement (CME) division handles engagement initiatives, marketing campaigns, promotions and partnerships, media relations, social and digital media as well as graphic and video asset production. The Systems and Equitable Engagement intern will support an increasing volume of customer-facing initiatives requiring communications and engagement. Tasks include helping execute multi-channel communications and outreach plans, staffing booths and engaging with the public, managing the collateral that supports customer outreach events, and maintaining the Engagement team's database and master calendar. Projects may be generated by other teams within the department, as time allows.

Information booths at open houses, community festivals, farmers markets, fairs and festivals, and transportation fairs
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Applicants must be a current college student in good academic standing, enrolled in an accredited associate, bachelor's or graduate degree program in Marketing, Communications, Public Affairs, Urban Planning, Policy, Education, Equity and DEI, or other non-technical discipline or relevant two-year certificate.
