Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and residential property, ensuring that they are safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. This role requires a combination of technical skills and hands-on experience in landscaping, maintenance, irrigation, general upkeep of outdoor spaces and residential units.
Duties
- Perform regular maintenance tasks including lawn care, garden upkeep, and landscape maintenance and unit maintenance.
- Operate and maintain power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Irrigate gardens and landscaped areas to promote healthy plant growth.
- Conduct groundskeeping activities such as mowing, trimming, weeding, and planting.
- Inspect property and grounds for any maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Assist in the installation of new landscaping features as required.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and tools after use to ensure longevity and safety.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects efficiently.
Experience
- Previous experience in maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred.
- Proficiency in using various power tools and hand tools related to landscaping tasks.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and plant care techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks throughout the day.
