Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Music Therapist located in Palatka, FL. The Music Therapist will be responsible for planning and implementing music therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs. Day-to-day tasks will include assessing clients, developing treatment plans, and documenting progress. The therapist will work with individuals with mental health conditions and developmental and physical disabilities, promoting emotional, cognitive, and social well-being.
Qualifications
- Experience with Treatment planning and implementation
- Expertise in Mental Health support and interventions
- Experience working with individuals with Developmental and physical Disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Certification as a Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy
