Summary

We are seeking a Low Voltage Technician to join our dynamic team at Source Communications. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of low voltage systems and equipment. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive top-notch service and support.

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain low voltage systems including cameras, alarms, and telecommunications equipment.
  • Troubleshoot issues with existing installations to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC or BICSI standards during installations.
  • Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during work.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.
  • Pulling, routing, installing and terminating cat5/cat6/fiber structured cabling infrastructure in a commercial environment.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be able to work nights and out of town
  • Ownership of basic industry tools

Requirements

  • Entry level to Experienced Low Voltage Technician or similar role.
  • Knowledge of NEC or BICSI regulations related to low voltage installations.
  • BICSI Installer 1 Certified or ability to pass test within 1 year of employment
  • Valid State Drivers License, with good MVR
  • Knowledge of CCTV installation.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
