Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat acute injuries and illnesses, provide preventive healthcare services, and monitor the effectiveness of interventions.
Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests, prescribe medications, and implement treatment plans in compliance with standardized procedures, federal and state regulations, and Indian Health Service (IHS) guidelines.
Coordinate follow-up services, including lab work, imaging, specialist referrals, and scheduling of appointments through the Medical Receptionist.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a Master's or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited program.
Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of California, along with DEA registration and prescriptive authority in California.
