What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Specialist position at Source Intelligence?
About the role
As a Data Specialist (I) you will be responsible for managing the data lists provided by customers for product compliance research. You will be responsible for mapping the data provided to the Source Intelligence database and updating distributor parts to their corresponding manufacturers and manufacturer parts. You will format the data provided by the customer so that it can be imported into the Source Intelligence tools.
What you’ll do
- Scrub customer lists to map to the Source Intelligence supplier names.
- Identify parts which already have data on file in the Source Intelligence database.
- Identify suppliers who provide compliance information on their website and assign them to data processing team for research.
- Identify suppliers who require outreach to obtain compliance information and assign them to the supplier support team.
- Format customer provided data on the Source Intelligence data load templates.
- Complete Source Intelligence Product Compliance Cert1
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the company
What we’re looking for
- Experience in Manufacturing Operations or similar educational degree and 1-3 years of work experience.
- Knowledge of parts and reading datasheets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, etc.)
- Ability to manipulate large datasets in excel and other software applications.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple duties/projects at one time.
Salary : $21 - $23
