What you’ll be doing
As a Custodian you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a safe, sanitary environment within a facility of Source International.
Responsibilities
·Sweep, mop and vacuum in manufacturing and office areas
·Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, and fixtures
·Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
·Empty trash bins and replace liners
·Wash windows and glass surfaces
·Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as lobbies, and break rooms
·Replenish supplies (e.g., soap, toilet paper, and paper towels)
·Other duties/projects as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
·High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
·Ability to speak English
·Previous custodial or janitorial experience is a plus
·Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety practices
·Ability to operate cleaning equipment
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Demands
- Mobility necessary to perform a variety of tasks that involve standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, and twisting, possibly reaching chest high and overhead for materials
- Ability to lift/move/pull 10-50lbs occasionally throughout day
- Ability to hear adequately on the phone or in person and group settings
- Vision: Required to have close visual acuity, color vision and depth perception
- Use of hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate standard tools and equipment
·Must be able to stand and or walk (90% of the day) and consistently reach, bend, and move inside the facility to move product
