Job Summary:
Source International, a manufacturer of custom seating products for the office furniture industry, needs a highly motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Sutton, MA. We provide a high-end product to a fast paced and competitive industry. The purpose of this position is to provide customer service from the beginning stages (quoting) through delivery of the order.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt and efficient responses to customer questions via phone and or email. Questions can range from pricing to product knowledge for prospective orders. Or questions can be about current orders.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain a high level of company product knowledge to effectively answer customer queries
- Quote product for upcoming projects
- Enter orders from Purchase Orders as they are received
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure customer satisfaction
- Keep Manager informed of important developments, potential problems and related information necessary for effective management
- Other duties/projects as assigned
Required Experience, Education, Skills and Competencies:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in customer service/call center environment
- Must be highly organized, ability to follow instructions, and work independently
- Must have proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, provide a high level of attention to detail, and handle multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a professional manner
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, stand, reach with hands and arms, stoop, and kneel. The employee is required to sit for long periods of time. Employee must be able to follow safety guidelines.
