Opening for Part-Time Palliative Care Physician in Albany, NYPart TimePermanent Position Position Overview : Physicians visit patients in their homes, nursing homes, and hospitals as necessary.Routine participation in the education of medical students, NP and PA students, as well as residents and Geriatrics Fellows.On-call responsibilities are shared with a group of 5 hospice physicians.The Community Hospice directs a well-established Palliative Care Partners service line across inpatient, outpatient, and home-based settings within the affiliated health system.Recruitment Package : Starting bonus and competitive salary with incentives.Compensation for 0.5 FTE is between $129,000 and $132,000.The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, quality incentives, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable.Excellent benefits, including health, vision, and dental insurance.Paid malpractice insurance, including post-SPHP employment tail coverage.CME time and expense allowance.Paid time away from the practice.Two-part retirement savings program with employer matching.Relocation assistance available.
