About the Position: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Orthopedic Surgeon to join our established, hospital-employed practice located on Whidbey Island in the Pacific Northwest.
">Key Responsibilities:

- Examine patients and make diagnoses to determine the need for surgery ">
- Review patients' medical history and plan the best surgical procedure for treatment or nonsurgical treatment ">
- Evaluate and advise patients on the risk involved with having surgery ">
- Recommending and interpreting diagnostic imaging, such as radiographs, ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) ">
- Performing surgical procedures on patients with musculoskeletal issues or injuries while adhering to regulatory and ethical protocols ">
- Directing and coordinating activities of hospital staff for proper patient care ">
Requirements:

- MD or DO degree, Board eligible or Board certified in general surgery ">
- Active unrestricted DEA license required ">
- BLS required ">
- A minimum of 2-3 years experience in practice is required and prior experience working in a rural setting is preferred ">
