NP / PA Urgent Care opening in MaineLocated in Houlton, ME - Bangor 120mFull-time, permanent positionsEmployedWeekly schedule : Rotating weekendsRESPONSIBILITIESDiagnosis and treatment of Health Center patients to assure quality medical care.Provides emergency care and minor surgical care to assure total patient care.Provides off-site care as appropriate (house calls, nursing home care, hospital coverage, etc.) to assure availability of care.Performs diagnostic tests and interprets results to provide timely and convenient patient care.Maintains current, accurate patient health records and regularly reviews mid-level practitioner charts to assure compliance with regulationsPrescribes required medication and / or other therapeutic modalities to patients to assure proper treatment.Assumes full responsibility for mid-level practitioners work related activities to comply with state and federal regulations.Provides professional supervision and evaluation of physician assistants according to the P.A.
