About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Sitka, Alaska. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
- Conduct ultrasound examinations using various techniques and modalities.
- Assist radiologists and other healthcare professionals with interpreting ultrasound images.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and examination results.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Allied Health or related field.
- Current certification as an Ultrasound Technologist (RDMS or RDCS).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in ultrasound technology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
