What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lot Attendant position at Source One Adjusters of Ohio?
JOB SUMMARY:
Lot attendants are responsible for maintaining and organizing the storage lot utilized at our corporate office. Attendants are to insure all vehicles are properly and securely stored, cleaned out, and prepped for all post-repossession procedures carried out for our client base. Attendants will also be interacting directly with customers that come in to redeem personal property from repossessed vehicles and/or redeem the vehicle itself upon satisfying bank requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain organization of vehicles that are stored on lot.
- Thoroughly complete itemized inventories of each vehicle that is repossessed and stored on our lot.
- Remove all personal property from repossessed vehicles.
- Maintain and organize all personal property removed from vehicles in our secure indoor property facility.
- Prep and stage vehicles for all post repossession processes carried out. (Auction pickups, transports, etc.)
- Maintain and organize all keys for vehicles on lot in assigned secure key cabinets.
- Complete condition and photo reports accurately as needed on vehicles.
- Carry out all vehicle and personal property redemptions directly with customers.
- Assist outside auction transporters with locating and signing for the pickup of vehicles.
- Maintain all lot vehicles and report any repairs or replacements needed to keep in good running condition i.e. fuel, oil coolant, washer fluid, tire pressure, brakes, steering, and license plate.
- Keep lot and office orderly and well-kept i.e. trash removal in the office and on lot, replacement of toiletries/supplies, snow removal as needed, etc.
- Carry out daily report tasks handed out by post-repossession supervisor, customer care coordinator, and transport manager.
- Secure lot and storage facilities prior to closing hours.
- Other duties as needed and/or requested
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must have strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Must have solid and effective communication skills.
- Must have the ability to multitask.
- Must be detail oriented, accurate, and organized with their workload.
- Experience operating a standard tow truck (Preferred).
