What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronics Technician position at Source One South America (SOSA BPO)?
We are seeking Electronics Repair Technicians & Electro-Mechanical Technicians to join our team in Orlando, FL. These roles involve troubleshooting, repairing, assembling, and testing electronic and electro-mechanical components used in aerospace, avionics, and industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair PCBs and electronic components at the component level
- Perform soldering (surface mount & through-hole) and rework
- Utilize test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers) for troubleshooting
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
- Ensure compliance with FAA, AS9100, and ISO 9001 standards
- Document repairs, test results, and process improvements
- Assemble and disassemble electro-mechanical components and wiring systems
- Perform cable and harness assembly, crimping, and wiring
- Conduct mechanical adjustments, troubleshooting, and testing
- Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Work with hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, crimping tools)
- Perform quality inspections to ensure proper functionality
Requirements:
✔ 2 years of experience in electronics repair, assembly, or troubleshooting
✔ Proficiency in soldering, PCB repair, or electro-mechanical assembly
✔ Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams
✔ Experience using test equipment for troubleshooting electronic components
✔ Familiarity with FAA regulations, ISO 9001, or aerospace standards (preferred)
✔ Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work with small components
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in avionics, aerospace, or FAA-regulated repair
- Experience with PLC systems, automation, or advanced diagnostics
