Printer II Requirements:
Required:
- 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced printing environment.
- Digital press experience for accurate and quality BW production.
- This includes thorough knowledge of digital press software or equivalent industry make-ready software to accurately prepare and impose files for routine and more complex digital printing jobs.
- Experienced in setting up and operating a variety of finishing equipment, such as but not limited to: Stitch & Trim equipment, desktop power folder, guillotines, shrink wrap machine, hole punch, glue padder, etc.
- Must have finishing experience.
- This includes using equipment like large cutters, folders, padding, guillotines, cutters, stitch, trim booklet makers, and run folders.
- Ability to effectively multi-task and demonstrate strong time management skills in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to work effectively with people and under stress and deadlines. This requires strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be flexible with scheduling to ensure all work is completed by established deadlines and to support late job requests.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Strong computer skills and basic working knowledge of PC and Microsoft software applications (or complete training within one year of hire).
Education:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent.
Preferred:
- Working knowledge of Adobe Suite applications such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
- Knowledge of the company’s Host system to receive and fill orders for hospital forms.
Job Vacancy 2: Printer III
Location: Apopka, FL
Printer III Requirements:
Required:
- 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced printing environment.
- Thorough knowledge of digital press software or industry make-ready software to accurately prepare and impose files for digital printing. This includes doing make-ready for routine and more complex digital jobs.
- Basic working knowledge of Adobe Suite applications, such as InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Pit Stop (or complete training within one year of hire).
- Thorough knowledge of color management theory and familiarity with industry quality standards to ensure print quality. (Or pass a written test on quality guidelines within 6 months of hire).
- Ability to visually inspect electronic files and printed products for acceptable quality standards.
- Ability to differentiate colors and make minor color adjustments to ensure quality products.
- Ability to effectively prioritize workflow, multi-task, and demonstrate strong time management skills in a fast-paced production environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively with people and under stress and deadlines; strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be flexible with scheduling to ensure all work is completed by established deadlines and to support late job requests.
- Digital press experience for accurate and quality color and BW production.
- Broad practical experience utilizing PC and/or Macintosh operating systems and Microsoft software, including Word, Excel, and Publisher.
- Experienced in setting up and operating a variety of finishing equipment such as, but not limited to: Stitch & Trim equipment, desktop power folder, guillotines, shrink wrap machine, hole punch, glue padder, etc.
Preferred:
- Ability to perform minor daily maintenance on digital presses or finishing equipment.
- Knowledge of the Host system to receive and fill orders for hospital forms.
- Offset press or Ryobi press experience.
