About Us: Source One Technology is a leading provider of IT services, seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Specialist to join our team. As a part-time, remote employee, you will provide top-notch technical support to our clients, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.

Job Summary:
The IT Service Desk Specialist Associate is an entry-level position responsible for troubleshooting and resolving IT productivity issues. Interacts with internal Progressive employees and/or Progressive Insurance Agents to restore IT productivity. Documents computer and system related incidents and troubleshoots solutions as appropriate, escalating or assigning follow-up work to other IT groups as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and chat.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, using problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.
- Documentation: Accurately document technical issues, solutions, and client interactions in our ticketing system.
- Communication: Communicate technical information to non-technical clients, ensuring clear understanding and resolution.
- Knowledge Base: Contribute to the development and maintenance of our knowledge base, ensuring accurate and up-to-date technical information.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including IT, development, and operations, to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
Requirements:
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in IT service management, troubleshooting, and technical support.
- Certifications: CompTIA A , HDI Technical Support Professional, or equivalent certifications preferred.
- Customer Service: Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse clients.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Remote Work: Experience working remotely, with a reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free workspace.
