Azure AI Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Azure AI Engineer to join a dynamic team in New York City. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the cutting edge of AI and cloud technology, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy cloud and hybrid applications using Azure and Generative AI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate Business Requirements: Convert business needs into scalable AI solutions within Azure.
- Technology Selection: Select appropriate Azure technologies that align with business goals and integrate with existing systems.
- Collaboration: Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Application Development, and Business teams to design and implement AI-based applications.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collect feedback from diverse stakeholders to ensure the technical implementation aligns with business objectives.
- Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with security and risk teams to ensure ethical AI usage, compliance, and risk mitigation.
- LLM Operations: Contribute to operations focused on Large Language Models (LLMs) in Azure AI environments.
- Tool Development: Develop tools to support data ingestion, feature engineering, data management, and organization.
- Security Practices: Integrate security best practices into the development and deployment of AI solutions.
- Azure OpenAI Service: Establish and tailor the Azure OpenAI Service architecture to meet business requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience working with cloud-based AI workloads on Azure
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Experience with Azure OpenAI, Generative AI, Deep Learning, and LLMOps
- Proficient in Python, R, Java, or C#
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Bitbucket, Terraform)
- Azure AI certifications (e.g., Azure AI Engineer Associate) are a plus
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
