As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the inspection of incoming electronic components under the guidance of the Warehouse Manager. You will evaluate materials to ensure they meet specifications, determine their compliance or non-compliance with established standards, and support the release of incoming and in-process materials for use. Additionally, you will document any non-conformances and collaborate on follow-up actions to ensure resolution.

Insight on your impact:
- Perform unaided and microscopic visual inspections of electronic devices and components to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Utilize manual dexterity and precise hand-eye coordination to conduct thorough inspections.
- Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate quality records in accordance with established procedures.
- Collaborate with Receiving, Shipping, and Purchasing teams to align quality control activities with operational goals.
- Conduct receipt inspections of materials alongside receiving staff to verify compliance with specifications and standards.
- Identify and report changes in internal or external quality standards to ensure continued compliance.
- Communicate with customers and suppliers to address and resolve quality-related concerns.
- Operate measuring and testing equipment to perform accurate material and component assessments.
- Support quality assurance objectives by completing additional assignments or special projects as directed.
To be successful in the role, you must possess the following skills
- 1-3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably within electronic components or a related field, with a strong understanding of quality control processes and standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word) and quality management systems, with experience in data entry, reporting tools, and documenting instances of nonconformance.
- Familiarity with industry-specific quality standards and regulations, such as ISO 9001.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical documents, and specifications to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey information via email and manage multiple requests.
- Ability to stand and move for approximately 70% of the workday in a fast-paced environment and handle materials as needed during inspections.
