The salary range provided is $40,000 – $50,000 for the Chicagoland area. We determine starting pay based on a thorough evaluation of job-related factors, including geographic location, market conditions, relevant experience, training, and education. This process ensures a fair and competitive salary that aligns with both the company and the candidate’s qualifications.

What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with the data and manufacturing team to plan for all printing and reprinting needs across all titles
- Request and evaluate vendor quotes to identify the best-fit suppliers
- Actively seek out new vendor relationships around the globe
- Manage purchasing for a wide range of product types: co-editions, non-book items, displays, and print-on-demand
- Handle purchasing, vendor negotiation, and scheduling across multiple partners
- Resolve quality and delivery issues quickly and effectively
- Communicate with domestic and international printing and logistics partners to ensure on-time delivery across borders
- Generate and distribute monthly reports to support inventory, printing, and warehouse visibility company-wide
- 2 years of relevant experience or a degree in project management, business, logistics, or communications
- Experience in media or book publishing is a plus but not required. Familiarity with manufacturing or supply chains is also a plus
- Strong computer skills, especially with MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Excellent project management abilities—juggling tasks and meeting deadlines is essential to success
- A proactive approach to improving processes and reducing costs
- Strong negotiation and vendor relationship skills
- A solutions-focused mindset and comfort with fast-paced environments
- Precision and attention to detail in all you do
- The ability to pivot quickly and decisively in response to shifting priorities
- A balanced approach to creativity and budget-conscious decision-making
- Excellent communication and follow-through
- Experience with international logistics and freight forwarders (especially coordinating with Asian offices) is a plus
