Position Summary

As part of the Military Sales Team, you will focus on leveraging market intelligence and current active programs to drive and grow a long-term sales strategy for Military & Defense applications from the Comark-Source Code portfolio of edge hardware systems.

Key Responsibilities - as the Account Manager, you are responsible for the following :

  • Develop & drive a strategy through collaboration with cross-functional teams, to increase long-term sales for the Military & Defense vertical.
  • Develop and maintain excellent business relationships with customers and ensure consistent follow-up and support to drive revenue.
  • Develop a strong product knowledge of Comark-Source Code products & capabilities to present a broad overview of our offerings.
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of business' current / future products and solutions.
  • Balance and flexibility to manage short cycle sale opportunities with sales team combined with long cycle business development customer opportunities.
  • Develops new prospects from personal research and company led lead generation activities for the Military & Defense segment.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with product development to initiate and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Maintain Sales Forecasts and Strategic Sales plans, communicate to Management.
  • Identify, analyze and pursue potential strategic partnership relationships for the products and solutions that achieve the business objectives.
  • Research current and future market requirements by ongoing communications with customers and non-customers as well as through competitive research and other sources.
  • Attend Trade Shows, Symposiums, Meetings, Industry Days, etc. to establish new contacts and identify new opportunities.
  • Travel to prospective customers and government locations as required. Host customer visits to Comark facilities.
  • Coordinate with Marketing for marketing materials, efforts, email blasts, trade shows, etc.

Position Requirements

  • 5 years related experience
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, procedures, and regulations within the government and military markets.
  • Proven track record of meeting commitments with the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Discretion and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Highly motivated & driven to deliver results that meet & exceed goals
  • Outstanding verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and project management
  • Military service or background a plus.
  • US Citizenship Required

    Pay Range : $100,000 - $140,000 per year
