Junior Product/Project Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Product/Project Manager to help elevate our business. The ideal candidate has some experience in project management, preferably within the CPG sector (e.g., food, pet, home goods, packaging) and a willingness to learn about working with overseas sourcing teams. Under the guidance of one of our Senior Product/Project Managers, the VP of Operations, and the rest of our leadership team, you will assist in various aspects of product development and sourcing, including concept creation, design, price negotiation, sampling, production management, quality control, and logistics. When ready you will manage a small portfolio of clients/projects with guidance from your Sr. PM. Simply put, you'll gain a well-rounded experience and never be bored!
What You’ll Do
As a Junior Product/Project Manager, you will assist with driving progress across various aspects of the business. You will work on a wide variety of CPG projects and interesting products in a fast-paced environment. Some of your core responsibilities will include:
- Managing orders from order placement until the product is in the client's hands. This includes, but is not limited to; verifying pricing, following up with manufacturers, tracking orders through delivery and being able to think quickly when creative solutions are needed.
- Working with freelance artists and engineers based all over the world.
- Placing and following up on sample orders, project specifications and client requests.
- Providing self-directed client contact including emails, phone calls, and participating in and/or leading client meetings.
- Occasionally building creative decks for client’s needs, leveraging our designers when necessary.
- Maintaining a high level of customer service and pleasant communication with all new and existing clients.
- Creating sales orders, purchase orders and invoices.
- Managing, reviewing, and shipping incoming and outgoing samples.

Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field.
- Some work experience, ideally in consumer products development and sourcing.
