Critical Care/ICU Nurse Practitioner

Nurse Practitioner/Physician's Assistant - Critical Care Nights Only (7p-7a)

Duties:

• Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Prescribe medications and treatments
• Supervised by board certified intensivists
• Tele-ICU support available as well
• Implement infection control measures and maintain a clean and safe environment
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
  
  

Experience:

• ICU experience and procedures as APP or RN preferred but not mandatory
  
  

Requirements:

• Valid NP/PA license in NC
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification required
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
