Private Single Specialty Group seeking their 5th oncologist for their office site. The practice uses primarily one hospital and one office, and offers excellent compensation. Located approximately 40 minutes from the Philadelphia metro area, the practice participates in numerous clinical trials and research affiliated with the National Cancer Institute, The Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group, Fox Chase Cancer Center, and others.
Our office is fully equipped with an OSHA and CLIA certified lab, a spacious chemotherapy and infusion site complete with television, educational videos, an audio player with relaxation tapes and music, and light reading materials. Family members are welcome in the suite while the patient undergoes treatment.
Extensive resource materials on a number of cancers and chemotherapy treatment are available. Individualized patient education is provided, with each patient receiving personal education from an oncology nurse prior to starting treatment. This instruction is supported with detailed resource materials specific to the patient's condition that they can read in the office and take home. WIFI access is also available.
