What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospitalist Physician position at SourceMD?
We are seeking a Hospitalist Physician for a practice opportunity in the Salt Lake City area.
Duties :
- Provide quality-driven and evidence-based care for patients in acute and critical care settings.
- Coordinate all aspects of care for patients admitted to the hospitalist service through the E.D. or referred for admission by community / regional providers and provide medical consultation for other hospital service lines.
- Provide high-quality service / experience for referring and collaborating physicians as well as patients and their families.
- Actively participate in hospitalist quality and service line improvement initiatives.
- Attend periodic hospitalist and medical staff meetings.
- Supervise team mid-level providers and periodically, medical students and residents.
- Participate in opportunities to enhance program growth.
