Nocturnal Critical Care Medicine Opportunity in Northeast TN
We have an exciting opportunity available for an Intensivist to join an existing practice in Northeast Tennessee (Johnson City / Kingsport / Bristol area). As the premier healthcare provider of Northeast Tennessee, Johnson City Medical Center (JCMC) is seeking a board-certified, Fellowship Trained Critical Care Specialist to practice in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains. The successful candidate will join the ICU group that has a work hard play hard approach in serving the community. We are nestled in a small university town in the Appalachian Mountains of Eastern TN while taking advantage of one of the top Critical Care opportunities in the Southeast! Join a highly reputable, growing practice located in Johnson City, TN, serving 1.3 million people in the Tri-Cities. The Tri-Cities market consists of 29 counties throughout Northeast TN, Northeast VA, Southwest VA, Western NC, and Eastern KY. The hospital operates a Level I trauma center and is a major medical referral center offering a full range of specialty and subspecialty care services, including a heart hospital, cancer center, stroke and neuroendovascular services, neurosurgery, orthopedic services, outpatient imaging, vascular care, advanced surgical services, and a 43-bed intensive care unit.
The group provides services at a Level I Trauma Center offering a full range of specialized medical care including Neuro-endovascular surgery, neurosurgery, cardiovascular surgery (including TAVR), and comprehensive stroke center. Additionally, the critical care team is working with the cardiothoracic surgery team and a regional major academic medical center to develop an ECMO program.

- Flexible scheduling with 15 twelve-hour shifts per month
- No block scheduling unless desired
- Experience in Neuro ICU preferred (BC in Neuro CCM not required)
