Crane Operator / Material Handler – 1st Shift
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Crane Operator / Material Handler to join our team. This is a hands-on role that requires material handling experience and the ability to operate cranes, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
Shift : 1st Shift, 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Pay : $18-$22 / hr (higher pay for crane experience, sweet spot around $19 / hr)
Location : Temp-to-hire opportunity
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate 2-ton and 5-ton cranes to unload and distribute slabs of material
- Use pallet jacks and forklifts to move and stage inventory
- Break down and properly dispose of wood pallets and A-frames
- Utilize RF scanners to track materials and update inventory records
- Perform pre-use safety inspections of equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
